Fighting for Families in the Harvard Morgue Scandal

Meehan, Boyle, Black & Bogdanow, P.C. is proud to serve as Plaintiffs’ Liaison Counsel alongside Plaintiffs’ Co-Lead Counsel at Keches Law Group and Morgan & Morgan in a significant case before the Massachusetts Supreme Judicial Court, tackling the question of whether Harvard should be held responsible for the shocking actions of its former morgue manager, his supervisors, and others with responsibility for Harvard’s conduct in this case. Families who donated their loved ones’ bodies for medical education and research never imagined they’d be caught up in a horrifying human remains trafficking scheme.

The SJC is deciding whether Harvard can be sued or if it’s protected under immunity laws. This case is about more than just one institution—it’s about making sure families can trust the system when they make such a meaningful and selfless donation.

We’re standing with these families to seek accountability, and we’ll keep fighting for justice as this case moves forward.
