Jelayna M. Marrero

Jelayna Marrero started with Meehan, Boyle, Black & Bogdanow in November 2010 as a high school intern. She quickly integrated into the firm and ultimately joined full-time. In November 2014, Jelayna became a legal assistant and, given her constantly growing skills, she transitioned to assistant office manager in 2018. In addition to her office management duties, Jelayna also handles client intakes, which she approaches with sensitivity, patience, and a keen attention to detail.

Jelayna enjoys learning the ins and out of the firm, and is the go-to person for handling special projects. She brings her organizational capabilities to all her projects, which she completes diligently and efficiently. Jelayna loves working at MBBB because she feels the firm goes above and beyond for clients and staff, holds long-lasting connections, and works together as a team.

In her spare time, Jelayna enjoys bike riding, drawing, baking, volunteering, and spending time with her two children, family, and friends. She also has a deep passion for photography. Born just outside of Boston, MA, I’ve spent my whole life in the city and consider it home.
