MBBB Partner Brad Henry to Serve as Panelist at “Primer” on Punitive Damages

Flyer and Event Info Wake-up Primer on Punitive DamagesThe recent decision in Aleo v. SLB Toys USA, Inc, lays out a roadmap for proving gross negligence and punitive damages under Massachusetts statutory law. It follows the lawsuit against Lorillard Tobacco (Evans v. Lorillard Tobacco Company) where the jury awarded $81 million in punitive damages for willful and malicious conduct. In June, the SJC ordered a retrial of the punitive damages award in that case. Attend and find out from the experts what the implications are of these two cases for tort lawyers.
